How long have low level lasers been in use?
Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) devices comparable to StarLite® have been used for many years worldwide. No known side effects or contraindications have been reported in 35 years of international research and usage of LLLT products of this type. Our laser complies with all FDA laser safety standard regulations.

How soon will I see results?
You will see an almost immediate softening of the skin as StarLite® begins its magical work. Small imperfections and scars will appear less rough and pronounced after a short time. Blemishes will show improvement in just a few days of use. The effect of StarLite®’s light energy reveals more dramatic improvements in 7 to 30 days. As with cosmetic treatments, the cumulative use of StarLite® is most beneficial. Since it is lightweight and easy to use, the device may be operated while watching your favorite TV program or reading a book before bedtime.

Does the treatment hurt?
StarLite® is much different than the heat-generating lasers used by spas and physicians. There is no warmth, pain or other physical sensation during or following laser use. The laser can even be used on sensitive or dark skin as the light is beneficial, not damaging.

Is it safe?
The 5mw output of StarLite ® is considered within the most safe of all laser emitting classifications as Class 3 R (US FDA) and combined with it’s safety proximity switch is by far the safest cosmetic laser marketed. StarLite ® does not emit any laser light unless close to the skin...it cannot be “shined” around as the some cosmetic laser products can. (Safer for environments where young children are present). StarLite ® has exclusive safety features preventing one from inadvertently shining the laser into the eye. StarLite ® is registered / cleared as a safe Class 3R non-medical cosmetic application device with the US FDA and is fully CE compliant.

How long must I use the laser on a regular basis?
For best results, it is important to make the StarLite® treatment a part of your daily beauty routine.

Can it be used around the eyes?
Yes, gently slide the device in a circular or zigzag motion on the brow bone, on the cheek and 1” away from your eyes, avoiding the upper and lower eyelids.
