Fetlock Boots:

My horse has a tendon issue and the vet said he needs to be off on stall rest for another couple of weeks. Use them for 23 hours a day until it is healed then drop back to using them just overnight and NOT the 23 hours a day. The 23 hours a day is just for healing, the overnight is for maintenance.

Do I ever remove them during this time?
It is recommended that you take them off once a day and check for dirt, etc that may get in there and scratch his skin. It is also good to let the skin get air. So I would take them off once a day for an hour or two then put them back on.

How often can you use them? can you use them every day? There is no limit except when healing an injury use them 23 hours a day. AFTER it is healed use the maintenance schedule.Yes, once healed use them overnight for maintenance.

Can I use a liniment with the Fetlock boot? You must never use other liniments or any heat creating medicines or liniments with Fetlock boots. The only liniment that can be used safely with these boots is Sore No More liniment.
