Which pulse form is the best?
All kinds of combination pulse forms have been tried and clinical studies support the use of pure sinusoidal waveform as basic carrier frequency, which is modulated with the pulsing frequencies. This warrants the necessary energy transfer during the pulse time into the body, if combined with sufficient speed of magnetic induction.

What about the range of pulsing frequencies?
The available pulsing frequencies of the PEMF system should cover a wide range in order to have available the best therapeutic possibilities for the various different applications. For treatment of diseases the range should be 1-50 Hz (above 50 Hz there is no more relevant therapeutic effect) and for health and fitness 1-22 Hz.

What about using a fixed pulsing frequency?
When sitting in a plane we experience noise made by the motors of the plane. After a short while we do hardly notice this noise anymore. This is due to the ability of our body to adapt to surrounding disturbances and thus cancelling out this noise. The same holds true for magnetic fields, which pulse the whole time with the same frequency and intensity. These pulses are a disturbance for the body and it will adapt to the used pulsing frequency after just a few minutes and the effect will become close to nil (this the reason why some manufacturers call for the use of just 8 minutes) By automatically changing the used pulsing frequencies every couple of minutes this adaptation effect is avoided and effective therapy is thus obtained for the whole therapy session.

Why do I need more than one program?
There is no human being exactly like the other and we are all unique with unique differences. This means that it is impossible to know in advance if the same treatment parameters will work for all people the same way! In order to be sure that we will get the best possible effects we need different program possibilities, hence the choice out of 10 different Master programs for the Curatron systems!

What can I expect?
There are hundreds of studies, which show a wide variety of applications of pulsing electromagnetic fields (PEMF). Many studies confirm that if some basic rules are being observed, with respect to the applied therapy parameters and the use of correct equipment, the benefits for the patient are substantial. Overall success rate for this form of therapy varies between 50 and 80 %. Evaluation of more than 3000 patients at a large university hospital using Curatron systems has shown an overall success rate of 87% !

How do I know that more oxygen is distributed through my body?
Evaluation has been done by means of thermography (measuring the heat coming from a body made by means of infrared technology). We can clearly see the differences between a temperature scan before and after PEMF treatment. The differences in color distribution clearly show an increased perfusion and thus increase of oxygen supply.

Other systems have many more knobs, so they are better?
On the contrary, our engineers and programmers suffered many sleepless nights in order to reduce any control function, which might confuse the user. This lead to the development of completely automatic programs controlled by the built-in computer system. The system is extremely easy to use and has only 4 controls: start, stop, pause and program number.

Do I need a PC or laptop-computer to run the Curatron 2000PC?
The Curatron is a completely autonomous system, which runs without laptop or PC. It contains already 10 Master programs (each divided again into sub-programs) which run completely automatic. If you would like to compile your own programs you will need a PC or Laptop, which is then connected to the unit.

The Curatron is factory set for either 115V / 60 Hz or for 230V / 50 Hz.
How much does the unit weigh and is it portable?
The weight of the unit is only ~ 5.5 lbs or ~ 2.5 kg and is very much portable.
