How
Do I Return my 2000HT and 2000XP?
Your first step is to contact Customer Service at at eww-info@emersonww.com.
In your e-mail, please reference your Invoice number (or Order ID) and
the reason for your return. Note: You MUST receive a Return Authorization
(RA) number and return instructions from Emerson WorldWide
within 30 days of receipt of the invoice for a full refund or replacement
subject to the following restrictions:
All products
must be returned "as new" in the original condition including
packaging, documentation, warranty cards, manuals and accessories. All
returns must have a return authorization number or will be returned at
the buyer's cost. NOTE: Smokers who return products must be aware that
if the smell of smoke is detected on an item, making it not re-sellable,
then no credit can be issued.
All returns must be shipped freight prepaid unless instructed otherwise.
We recommend insuring.
All authorized returns
are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Undeliverable or Refused by Recipient shipments are considered authorized
returns and therefore subject of the same restocking fee and an administrative
charge.
Note:
1. We can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error.
2. As manufacturers constantly update their products, the photos we show on
our website are not guaranteed to exactly match the product and Emerson WorldWide
cannot take responsibility for slight differences.
Damaged Goods
Damaged or short shipments should be reported within 5 days of receipt. Damage
to a shipping container must be noted with the carrier at time of delivery.
Please report damaged merchandise by calling UPS at 1-800-PICK-UPS (1-800-742-5877).
If a shipment arrives
damaged:
Note damage on the delivery bill and have the driver sign it, acknowledging
the damage
Contact Emerson WorldWide customer service at eww-info@emersonww.com to start
processing an insurance claim
Your damaged item will be replaced immediately at no cost to you
If damage is not obvious at time of delivery:
Contact Emerson WorldWide customer service within 5 days of delivery
Save the container and merchandise for inspection
Your damaged item will be replaced immediately at no cost to you
Warranty
Certificate and Guarantee Statement.
The 2000HT and XP
are warranted by Emerson WorldWide against defects in materials or workmanship
for 12 months from date of purchase. If this product is determined to
be defective, Emerson WorldWide will repair or replace it, at its option,
at no charge during the warranty period, except for shipment expenses.
After the warranty
period, the user must pay for all parts and labor charges. If product
is repaired or replaced, either within or outside the warranty period,
Emerson WorldWide reserves the right to provide equivalent parts in different
colors to your original product.
This warranty does
not cover damages caused by the acts of God, misuse, negligence, accident,
modification of, or to any part of the product. This warranty does not
cover damage due to improper operation or maintenance, connection to improper
voltage supply, or attempted repair by anyone other than Emerson WorldWide.
This warranty is void if product is tampered with.
To obtain warranty
service, you must deliver the product freight prepaid, in either its original
packaging of packaging affording an equal degree of protection.
Limitation
of Liability: Except as expressly set forth above, Emerson WorldWide
shall not be liable for any special, indirect, or consequential damages
that are directly or indirectly related to the use of, or the inability
to use, the 2000HT and XP, even if Emerson WorldWide has been advised
of the possibility of such damages whether in an action of contract, negligence
or other tortuous action. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation
of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation exclusion
may not apply to you. Manufacturer's liability shall not exceed the purchase
price or $250, whichever is greater. |
